Dog Training at Wiggly Tails
 Wiggly Tails offers Doggie Tutoring (while your dog is boarding or daycare), Group Classes, and Private Lessons (at your home or at our facility). All training is done with our resident trainer Nicole Stewart! Future training services will include Agility and Flyball. Nicole is what is called a reward-based or positive trainer. She focuses on setting you and your dog up for success; putting your dog in a situation where he/she cannot get into trouble and then showing them what you want them to do.
To sign up, you can call or e-mail us. The Waiver, Policies & Procedures and Registration paperwork can be found and downloaded below which must be completed before you come to class. You can fax them to (847) 272-4234 or send them via e-mail to mail@wigglytails.com.
There is also a $50 deposit to reserve your spot in the class that you may pay by sending a check or pay over the phone with a credit card and we request the full amount be paid 7 days in advance of the beginning of class.
Please be sure to read the Requirements for classes below.
- Dogs must be up-to-date on their Rabies, Distemper (DHLPP) and Bordatella vaccines and must show proof before the first day of class.
- Puppies attending the Puppy class must have 2 of the 3 required rounds and be no older than 6 months.
- Basic class dogs must be 5 months or older.
- For the "Real World" Intermediate class, the prerequisite is Beginning Behaviors or permission from the instructor.
- Dogs must be wearing a flat buckle collar in all classes. Choke chains and prongs are not allowed. Also, dogs must be on a leash the entire time in class. Retractable leads are not allowed. Please use a regular 6 ft nylon leash.
